If you want to buy property in the Cariboo/Chilcotin I’d be happy to help you. While its relatively easy to do, and even possible to do over the internet, mistakes can be costly. As any experienced realtor will tell you, when a buyer and seller see eye to eye and want to make a deal you can write it up on a cigarette paper. The problem comes when there’s a misunderstanding.
The best protection is to be well educated about the process, that its handled professionally, and that the whole thing is well documented. You can do everything yourself, but it can be demanding in terms of time and knowledge. Having a capable realtor on your side can be a great help and well worth what you pay.
Traditionally realtors have offered a one size fits all product, but times have changed. Its possible, and indeed practical, to offer a la carte real estate services. That means that you can decide exactly what services you want to receive and how much you want to spend. There’s no limit to how creative you can be.
